KOSPI 200 Stocks Show Mixed Results with Samsung C&T Leading Gains

Seoul: The latest closing prices of the KOSPI 200 index reflect significant fluctuations among various companies. Samsung C and T posted notable gains, whereas Hanmi Pharm saw a considerable decline.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung C and T led the gainers with an increase of 3,000, closing at 299,000. In contrast, Hanmi Pharm experienced the largest drop, decreasing by 30,000 to close at 415,000. Other companies, such as SK Telecom and Hyundai Rotem, also faced declines, with SK Telecom down 1,200 to 61,000 and Hyundai Rotem down 3,000 to 215,500.

Several companies showed positive movement. LG Electronics rose by 4,300, closing at 109,300, while KB Financial Group increased by 3,700 to finish at 136,800. Woori Financial Group also experienced an uptick, gaining 450 to close at 28,850.

On the other hand, companies like KEPCO E and C and Sanil Electric faced declines of 4,900 and 5,300, respectively. KEPCO E and C ended at 139,800, and Sanil Electric closed at 141,800. Other notable decreases included Doosan Enerbility, dropping by 4,000 to 91,300, and Celltrion, falling by 3,000 to 204,000.

Despite these fluctuations, some companies remained stable. Samsung Card and TKG Huchems closed unchanged at 53,600 and 18,360, respectively. Overall, the KOSPI 200 index presented a mixed performance with both gains and losses across different sectors.
