Seoul: Friday's closing prices on the Korea Stock Exchange revealed mixed movements among the KOSPI 200 stocks.

According to Yonhap News Agency, AMOREPACIFIC Holdings saw an increase, closing at 29,000 KRW, up by 2,150 KRW. HyundaiMtr also experienced an uptick, closing at 298,500 KRW, which is an increase of 2,000 KRW. On the other hand, SeAH Steel Holdings declined by 1,300 KRW, ending at 126,800 KRW.

MiwonComcl's stock rose slightly, closing at 150,400 KRW, up by 100 KRW, while SamyangFood saw a significant rise, closing at 1,276,000 KRW, an increase of 45,000 KRW. Conversely, POSCO INTERNATIONAL dropped by 1,300 KRW, closing at 48,300 KRW. CJ CheilJedang also saw a decrease, ending at 207,000 KRW, down by 1,000 KRW.

Stocks of KAL dropped to 22,200 KRW, a decrease of 350 KRW, and Daewoong fell by 650 KRW to close at 21,400 KRW. TaekwangInd ended at 751,000 KRW, down by 11,000 KRW, while Nongshim closed at 428,500 KRW, a decline of 4,000 KRW. SGBC and COSMOCHEM also saw reductions, closing at 62,400 KRW and 13,910 KRW, down by 400 KRW and 440 KRW respectively.

LOTTE and LotteChilsung experienced declines, closing at 26,050 KRW and 134,000 KRW, down by 400 KRW and 5,200 KRW respectively. GCH Corp, however, saw a small increase, closing at 15,930 KRW, up by 10 KRW. YoungoneHoldings dropped significantly, ending at 183,600 KRW, a decline of 7,900 KRW.

HANWHA SOLUTIONS, OCI Holdings, and LS ELECTRIC showed varied results, with LS ELECTRIC experiencing a notable rise of 32,500 KRW to close at 492,500 KRW. KOREA ZINC's stock decreased by 29,000 KRW, closing at 1,287,000 KRW. LG Innotek, LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp, and HYUNDAI WIA had differing outcomes, with HYUNDAI WIA rising by 3,600 KRW to close at 79,300 KRW.

SamsungHvyInd and HMM saw minor adjustments, with SamsungHvyInd rising by 50 KRW to close at 24,150 KRW, and HMM dropping by 300 KRW to 20,200 KRW. S-Oil and PanOcean also experienced decreases, closing at 80,300 KRW and 3,795 KRW respectively.

ASIA HOLDINGS, SAMSUNG LIFE, and SAMSUNG C and T showed mixed results, with SAMSUNG C and T rising by 5,500 KRW to close at 245,000 KRW. DONGSUH, IBK, and SamsungE and A all experienced declines, closing at 26,000 KRW, 20,750 KRW, and 23,250 KRW respectively.

SAMSUNG CARD, KT, and LG Uplus faced downward trends, closing at 54,300 KRW, 51,300 KRW, and 14,430 KRW respectively. CheilWorldwide and LOTTE WELLFOOD also declined, closing at 20,850 KRW and 112,100 KRW, down by 150 KRW and 2,500 KRW respectively. CJ, however, ended the trading session on a positive note, rising by 1,300 KRW to close at 173,300 KRW.
