Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index, a key barometer of the South Korean stock market, reflected a varied performance among its listed companies in the latest trading session. Several stocks experienced gains, while others saw declines, showcasing a dynamic market environment.

According to Yonhap News Agency, CSWIND saw its stock price increase by 2,250, closing at 43,750. KOLON IND, however, faced a downturn with a decrease of 1,500, ending at 72,300. HanmiPharm's stock price rose by 9,500 to reach 420,500, marking a positive movement in the pharmaceutical sector.

In the financial sector, Meritz Financial gained 2,400, closing at 111,300, while BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group increased by 350 and 410, closing at 18,020 and 18,110, respectively. Retail giant emart saw a rise of 1,600, closing at 90,200. HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY also recorded an increase of 1,500, ending at 73,500.

KOLMAR KOREA's stock rose by 600 to close at 87,000, and SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS saw a significant increase of 37,000, closing at 1,332,000. HANILCMT and COSMAX experienced slight increases, closing at 14,700 and 168,700, respectively. The technology sector showed strong performance, with HYOSUNG TNC and HD HYUNDAI both seeing substantial gains of 24,000, closing at 360,500 and 268,000, respectively.

Meanwhile, the gaming sector saw mixed results, with Netmarble declining by 1,300 to close at 41,150, while DoubleUGames decreased by 1,100, ending at 69,900. KRAFTON also saw a slight decrease of 500, closing at 236,500.

In other notable movements, HyundaiAutoever's stock rose by 62,000, closing at 746,000, while LS ELECTRIC saw an increase of 35,000, ending at 257,500. SKSQUARE recorded a substantial rise of 55,000, closing at 1,413,000, and d'Alba Global's stock increased by 3,200, closing at 196,900.
