KOSPI 200 Stocks Show Mixed Performance as Market Closes

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks concluded the week with varied performances on the Korea Stock Exchange. Among the notable movements, SeAH Steel Holdings closed at 170,600 KRW, showing a decrease of 300 KRW. SamyangFood also saw a decline, closing at 1,315,000 KRW, down by 4,000 KRW.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several stocks recorded gains, with POSCO INTERNATIONAL rising by 3,300 KRW to settle at 70,300 KRW. CJ CheilJedang increased by 2,500 KRW, closing at 215,000 KRW, while Daewoong advanced to 20,700 KRW, up by 400 KRW. Other notable gainers included MiwonComcl, TaekwangInd, and NC, closing at 127,000 KRW, 1,024,000 KRW, and 276,000 KRW, respectively.

LIG Defense and Aerospace reported a substantial increase, climbing 63,000 KRW to close at 925,000 KRW. KAL and SamsungE and A were among the gainers, with KAL ending the day at 26,800 KRW, up by 350 KRW, and SamsungE and A at 53,400 KRW, rising by 2,100 KRW. LOTTE WELLFOOD gained 4,600 KRW to close at 121,600 KRW.

On the downside, HyundaiMtr experienced a decline of 11,000 KRW, closing at 655,000 KRW. GC Corp. and LotteChilsung also saw decreases, closing at 14,970 KRW and 113,700 KRW, respectively. GS Retail closed slightly lower at 27,350 KRW, down by 50 KRW, and ISUPETASYS ended at 126,100 KRW, decreasing by 1,700 KRW.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 stocks reflected a mixed day of trading, with a combination of gains and losses across various sectors.
