KOSPI 200 Stocks Show Mixed Performance as Key Players Experience Fluctuations

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance today with several key stocks experiencing significant fluctuations in their closing prices. The stock market witnessed both gains and losses across various sectors, reflecting a dynamic trading session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, among the stocks that saw a rise, DONGSUH increased by 500 to close at 26,000, while IBK went up by 200 to settle at 20,700. SAMSUNG C and T showed a notable increase of 10,000, closing at 283,500. HANWHA LIFE rose by 320 to end at 3,385. Other gainers included PanOcean, KT, and HYUNDAIDEPTST, which closed at 4,055, 53,000, and 95,700, respectively.

Conversely, several stocks faced declines. KDHC fell by 400 to close at 100,800, and Hanwha Engine dropped by 1,600, ending at 52,600. DAEWOONG PHARM experienced a decrease of 4,700, closing at 163,000, while Celltrion fell by 9,500, settling at 211,500. Other stocks such as HD-Hyundai Marine Engine and LIG Nex1 also saw declines in their closing prices.

Stability was observed in TKG Huchems, which remained unchanged at 18,440. However, KEPCO and Mobis faced losses, closing at 53,600 and 450,000, respectively. Notable movements were also recorded in stocks like HYOSUNG TNC, which rose by 3,500 to 238,000, and HYOSUNG HEAVY, which increased significantly by 93,000 to close at 2,125,000.

The market also saw declines in stocks like HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HyundaiAutoever, with closing prices at 615,000 and 492,500, respectively. Meanwhile, LS experienced a rise of 12,000, reaching 221,000. The trading session reflected a varied performance across the board, as investors navigated the fluctuating market conditions.
