Seoul:Monday's closing prices of KOSPI 200 stocks on the Korea Stock Exchange indicated a positive trend for many companies. Notable gains were recorded across various sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, some significant movers included Hyundai Motor, which rose by 14,000 KRW to 326,000 KRW, and Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., which increased by 62,000 KRW, reaching 592,000 KRW. Other substantial gains were seen with CJ, up 4,600 KRW to 129,200 KRW, and Doosan, which climbed 47,000 KRW to 1,071,000 KRW.
Additionally, Yuhan and Taekwang Industrial both experienced increases, with Yuhan rising by 7,000 KRW to 87,400 KRW and Taekwang Industrial up by 7,000 KRW to 897,000 KRW. Hyundai Autoever also demonstrated strength, surging by 32,500 KRW to 360,000 KRW.
Other companies such as Kia Corp., SK Hynix, and Shinsegae saw their shares rise by 5,800 KRW, 5,000 KRW, and 18,000 KRW, respectively. This positive performance highlights the robust activity in the market for these leading firms.
