Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index observed fluctuations in the closing prices of its constituent stocks. SK and Samsung Life were among the top gainers, while Hanwha Aerospace and NCsoft faced notable declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SK's stock price increased by 8,500, closing at 359,500. Samsung Life also saw a significant rise, gaining 15,000 to end at 226,500. Other companies such as SKTelecom and Hyundai Steel experienced upward movements of 700 each, with their closing prices at 77,900 and 37,400, respectively.
In contrast, Hanwha Aerospace experienced a decline, with its price dropping by 45,000 to 1,410,000. NCsoft also saw a decrease of 9,500, closing at 210,000. Meanwhile, Hanchem and KEPCO E and C reported downward trends, with their prices falling by 4,500 and 2,600, respectively.
SAMSUNG C and T and KIWOOM were among the significant gainers, with their prices rising by 10,500 and 23,500, reaching 283,500 and 450,000, respectively. LGCHEM and LG H and H also posted gains, with increases of 4,500 and 3,000, leading to closing prices of 315,500 and 248,000, respectively.
Several companies experienced moderate price changes. POSCO FUTURE M and POSCO DX witnessed minimal movements, with POSCO FUTURE M's price rising by 500 to 210,500, while POSCO DX experienced a slight decline of 300, closing at 32,600. Meanwhile, Mobis remained unchanged at 423,000, and KT and G saw no change, closing at 154,600.
