Seoul: KOSPI 200 stocks experienced a range of movements during Friday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange, with several companies reporting notable changes in their closing prices.
According to Yonhap News Agency, CJ's stock price decreased by 4,000 KRW, closing at 158,900 KRW. SBHC also saw a decline, with its price down by 850 KRW to close at 25,700 KRW. On the other hand, Taihan Elec Wire experienced an increase of 500 KRW, closing at 16,530 KRW, and Hyundai M and F Insurance rose by 500 KRW, reaching 25,700 KRW.
Daesang's stock price increased by 300 KRW, ending at 22,300 KRW, while ORION Holdings went up by 50 KRW to close at 21,900 KRW. KCC recorded a rise of 2,000 KRW, closing at 314,000 KRW, and SKBP saw an increase of 2,700 KRW, finishing at 92,900 KRW. TCC STEEL's price was up by 650 KRW, closing at 16,380 KRW.
The session also saw Lotte Chilsung's stock price increase by 1,200 KRW, closing at 119,500 KRW. AMOREPACIFIC Holdings rose by 2,200 KRW, closing at 31,900 KRW, and Hyundai Motor's stock increased by 3,000 KRW to reach 210,000 KRW. In contrast, Miwon Commercial experienced a decline, with its price down by 2,000 KRW, closing at 172,000 KRW.
SeAH Steel Holdings saw a decrease of 3,500 KRW, ending at 209,500 KRW, while Daewoong's stock price increased by 50 KRW to close at 24,200 KRW. Shinsegae recorded a rise of 2,600 KRW, finishing at 187,300 KRW, and Nongshim's price went up by 2,500 KRW, closing at 394,500 KRW. Samyang Food experienced an increase of 26,000 KRW, closing at 1,307,000 KRW.
POSCO INTERNATIONAL's stock price decreased by 250 KRW, ending at 49,100 KRW, whereas CJ CheilJedang saw an increase of 5,000 KRW, closing at 243,000 KRW. Taekwang Industrial experienced a significant drop, with its price down by 31,000 KRW, closing at 1,104,000 KRW.
Other notable changes included KAL's increase of 150 KRW, closing at 21,550 KRW, and LG Corp.'s rise of 2,200 KRW, ending at 77,500 KRW. KG Mobility's stock price went up by 50 KRW, closing at 3,530 KRW. POSCO FUTURE M experienced an increase of 3,400 KRW, closing at 129,200 KRW, and LOTTE Fine Chemical rose by 250 KRW, ending at 38,050 KRW.
HYUNDAI STEEL saw a slight decrease of 200 KRW, closing at 29,000 KRW, while SGBC's price increased by 400 KRW, finishing at 69,100 KRW. LOTTE's stock rose by 400 KRW, closing at 27,700 KRW, and GCH Corp's price increased by 50 KRW, ending at 16,400 KRW. COSMOCHEM saw a rise of 630 KRW, closing at 14,490 KRW.
POSCO Holdings recorded an increase of 2,500 KRW, closing at 262,500 KRW, and DB INSURANCE's stock rose by 3,600 KRW, ending at 120,200 KRW. SLCORP's price remained unchanged at 32,150 KRW, while Yuhan saw an increase of 3,100 KRW, closing at 104,200 KRW.
Samsung Electronics experienced a rise of 300 KRW, closing at 59,500 KRW, whereas NHIS saw a slight decrease of 30 KRW, ending at 19,170 KRW. Dongwon Industries recorded an increase of 1,050 KRW, closing at 49,650 KRW, while LS saw a decline of 2,100 KRW, ending at 177,000 KRW. Lastly, HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES experienced a notable rise of 12,500 KRW, closing at 44,300 KRW.
