KOSPI 200 Stocks See Varied Movements as Trading Closes

Seoul: Monday's trading on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a range of movements across KOSPI 200 stocks, with several companies witnessing significant price changes.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyosung Heavy recorded a notable increase, closing at 1,337,000 KRW, up by 9,000 KRW. Samsung F and M Insurance also saw a substantial rise, with its stock price climbing 10,000 KRW to end at 461,000 KRW. LG Energy Solution experienced an upward movement of 2,500 KRW, closing at 351,500 KRW, while NCsoft's shares went up by 2,000 KRW, finishing at 221,500 KRW.

Other companies showing upward trends included Samsung Life, which increased by 3,300 KRW to 155,300 KRW, and Kakao, which saw its stock price rise by 1,000 KRW to close at 60,300 KRW. Meanwhile, KCC and Hanchem each experienced a rise of 2,000 KRW, with closing prices of 359,000 KRW and 207,000 KRW, respectively.

On the other hand, certain stocks saw declines. SKBP's price fell by 400 KRW, closing at 101,100 KRW. KT and G also saw a decrease of 1,400 KRW, ending at 136,200 KRW. SK Telecom closed at 54,500 KRW, down by 400 KRW, and Hyundai Elevator's stock dropped by 700 KRW to 79,800 KRW.

Overall, the trading session reflected mixed fortunes for the companies listed on the KOSPI 200, with some experiencing gains and others facing declines.
