Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index experienced a range of changes in stock prices, with various companies showing notable gains and losses.
According to Yonhap News Agency, NAVER's stock increased by 3,000 to close at 197,700, while Kakao saw a rise of 700, ending at 34,150. NC Corporation gained 4,000, closing at 216,000, and LG Electronics experienced a significant rise of 5,500, reaching 214,500.
On the downside, HANMISemi's stock decreased by 9,000 to 234,500, and LG H&H dropped by 1,000, closing at 291,500. KEPCO E&C's shares fell by 4,200, ending at 126,200, while SANIL ELECTRIC saw a decline of 4,500 to close at 201,000.
Other notable increases included LGCHEM, which rose by 10,000 to 262,500, and Meritz Financial, which gained 7,800, closing at 133,400. Furthermore, Hana Financial Group's shares increased by 2,200, finishing at 135,300, and Hyundai Glovis rose by the same amount to 199,100.
Conversely, Hyundai Department Store saw a decrease of 5,200 to 91,200, and KIH dropped by 4,500, closing at 181,900. Despite some declines, the overall market reflected positive trends for many companies.
