Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed significant gains in several sectors, with many companies experiencing substantial increases in their stock prices. The performance highlights a positive trend in the South Korean market as various industries show promising growth.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SD Biosensor saw its stock price rise by 620 to reach 9,030, while BNK Financial Group increased by 410, closing at 9,710. DGB Financial Group also experienced an uptick, with its price climbing 370 to settle at 8,890. Retail giant emart had a notable increase of 3,100, closing at 84,300.

In the manufacturing and technology sector, DENTIUM's stock surged by 4,000 to 70,900, while HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY climbed 1,550 to 37,750. KOLMAR KOREA and JB Financial Group also reported gains, with their stocks rising 2,600 and 760, respectively. TKG Huchems and PIAM closed with increases of 1,000 and 720.

The shipping company HANJINKAL saw a remarkable increase of 6,300, closing at 80,400, and CHONGKUNDANG's stock rose by 4,600 to 75,800. DoubleUGames and HL MANDO also reported positive performances with 1,600 and 1,900 increases.

Biotechnology leader SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS saw its stock climb 27,000 to 1,019,000, while Doosan Bobcat and HYBE experienced gains of 3,000 and 14,500, respectively. Netmarble and KRAFTON also contributed to the upward trend, with their prices increasing by 1,900 and 23,000.

In addition, HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED and HD HYUNDAI registered gains of 13,600 and 3,900. ORION and KAL's stock prices increased by 3,600 and 1,250, respectively, while HANWHA SYSTEMS saw a rise of 2,700. APR and BGF Retail also closed higher, with gains of 3,000 and 2,300.

Investments in HYOSUNG TNC and SKCHEM showed promising results, as their stocks rose by 15,700 and 1,550. HANILCMT and SKBS closed with increases of 700 and 2,800, while WooriFinancialGroup and KakaoBank saw gains of 660 and 900.

COSMOCHEM, Meritz Financial, and DL E and C also experienced upward movements, with their stock prices increasing by 1,930, 8,800, and 1,500, respectively. ECOPRO MAT and Doosan Robotics registered gains of 6,650 and 3,250, and OCI and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL saw increases of 2,550 and 3,250.

Lastly, Hanwha Vision closed significantly higher, with its stock price rising by 7,050 to 51,700.
