KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Results with Notable Gains for SK Hynix and Samsung Biologics

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks experienced varied movements on the Korea Stock Exchange as Friday's trading session concluded. Some stocks showed upward trends while others faced declines, reflecting the dynamic market conditions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix led the gains in the technology sector, closing at 328,500 KRW, marking an increase of 21,500 KRW. Samsung Biologics also witnessed a rise, with its shares climbing 2,000 KRW to finish at 1,038,000 KRW. Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Electric saw a significant increase of 10,000 KRW, ending the day at 595,000 KRW.

In the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, HanmiPharm recorded an increase of 4,000 KRW, closing at 296,000 KRW. Hanall Biopharma's shares rose by 600 KRW, reaching a closing price of 34,000 KRW.

However, some stocks faced downward trends. CJ's shares dropped by 2,100 KRW to close at 186,300 KRW, and Krafton experienced a decline of 2,000 KRW, ending at 322,500 KRW. SamsungF and MIns saw a decrease of 3,000 KRW, closing at 470,000 KRW.

Other notable movements included HyundaiEng and Const, which rose by 700 KRW to 59,400 KRW, and HANATOUR SERVICE, which increased by 800 KRW to close at 52,800 KRW. Meanwhile, emart and Netmarble both saw a rise of 200 KRW in their stock prices, ending at 76,900 KRW and 61,900 KRW, respectively.

The financial sector displayed mixed results as well, with Meritz Financial remaining stable at 126,800 KRW, while BNK Financial Group saw an increase of 110 KRW, closing at 15,510 KRW. In contrast, JB Financial Group experienced a modest increase of 50 KRW, finishing at 24,900 KRW.
