KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Performance with Predominant Declines

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mixed yet largely downward trend in its latest closing figures, with several major companies experiencing declines in their stock prices. HANMISemi saw a decrease of 1,600 to close at 94,900, while Kangwonland's shares fell by 370 to 17,990. NAVER experienced a significant drop of 14,000, closing at 254,500. LG Display, however, bucked the trend with a slight increase of 20, ending at 14,430.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable declines included ORION Holdings, which fell by 300 to 20,000, and KIH, which decreased by 2,000 to 143,000. KDHC saw a reduction of 2,400, closing at 87,900, and LIG Nex1's shares decreased by 6,000, ending at 507,000. HYUNDAIGLOVIS recorded a decrease of 1,700, finishing at 163,700.

In contrast, some companies experienced gains. Misto Holdings rose by 200 to close at 38,750, while AMOREPACIFIC saw an increase of 900 to 123,200. FOOSUNG and MiwonComcl also reported gains, closing at 5,880 and 153,900, respectively. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp and KumhoPetrochem registered increases, closing at 67,900 and 106,700.

The report further highlighted declines for companies such as HanmiPharm, which fell by 6,500 to 360,500, and SD Biosensor, which decreased by 40 to 9,890. Other declines were noted for iM Financial Group, emart, and DENTIUM, closing at 13,500, 74,700, and 55,500, respectively. Despite the predominant downward trend, POSCO FUTURE M recorded a notable increase of 4,000, closing at 147,500.
