KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Movements in Monday’s Trading

Seoul: Monday's trading on the Korea Stock Exchange saw varied movements in the KOSPI 200 stocks, with notable changes in several key shares. Poongsan closed at KRW 77,500, marking a decrease of KRW 2,700. LG Display also experienced a decline, closing at KRW 15,800, down by KRW 290. On the other hand, Kakao saw an increase to KRW 42,700, up by KRW 750.

According to Yonhap News Agency, significant gains were recorded by Samsung C and T, which rose to KRW 455,000, an increase of KRW 22,500. SamsungF and MIns also climbed, closing at KRW 604,000, marking an increase of KRW 35,000. Samsung Electronics experienced a rise of KRW 32,000, closing at KRW 349,000. LG CNS ended the day at KRW 143,700, up by KRW 29,900, while Doosan rose significantly to KRW 2,203,000, gaining KRW 231,000.

Meanwhile, stocks such as HITEJINRO, Yuhan, and SLCORP saw declines. HITEJINRO closed at KRW 15,900, down by KRW 120. Yuhan fell to KRW 83,400 with a decrease of KRW 1,600, and SLCORP ended at KRW 74,200, marking a decline of KRW 900. On the upside, HanmiPharm and LGELECTRONICS experienced notable increases, with HanmiPharm closing at KRW 539,000, up by KRW 48,000, and LGELECTRONICS rising to KRW 380,500, marking an increase of KRW 87,500.

Other stocks such as Kogas, HyundaiEng and Const, and Hanwha saw downward trends. Kogas declined by KRW 1,000 to close at KRW 34,500. HyundaiEng and Const saw a significant fall, closing at KRW 138,900, down by KRW 8,100. Hanwha also decreased by KRW 4,800, ending at KRW 128,900. Conversely, SK hynix and Taihan Cable and Solution showed positive growth. SK hynix rose to KRW 2,363,000, up by KRW 30,000, while Taihan Cable and Solution increased by KRW 2,150 to close at KRW 47,600.
