Seoul: Friday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw varied performances among KOSPI 200 stocks, with some experiencing gains while others recorded losses.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix emerged as a notable gainer with its stock price rising by KRW 79,000 to close at KRW 2,764,000. Another significant increase was observed in HYOSUNG HEAVY, which saw its stock climb by KRW 162,000, reaching KRW 3,855,000. HyundaiMtr also posted an increase, with its shares up by KRW 12,000, closing at KRW 613,000. Additionally, SamsungElecMech and F and F reported gains of KRW 70,000 and KRW 900 respectively.
Conversely, several stocks faced declines. LG Innotek saw a significant drop of KRW 138,000, closing at KRW 1,145,000. HANMISemi and POSCO Holdings also experienced decreases, with their prices falling by KRW 20,500 and KRW 10,500, respectively. Other stocks such as Hanwha, CJ, and HyundaiEng and Const posted declines of KRW 5,700, KRW 5,300, and KRW 4,600, respectively.
The trading session reflected a mixed sentiment among investors as various stocks across different sectors experienced price fluctuations.
