Seoul: Monday's closing prices on the Korea Stock Exchange revealed varied performances among the KOSPI 200 stocks. ORION Holdings closed at KRW 22,650, marking a decrease of 450, while TaekwangInd saw an increase, closing at KRW 1,144,000, up by 20,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable movements included SamyangFood, which dropped by 32,000 to close at KRW 1,208,000, and CJ CheilJedang, which rose by 7,000 to reach KRW 233,000. POSCO INTERNATIONAL saw a decline, ending at KRW 80,600, down by 4,500, whereas KAL increased by 150 to close at KRW 23,150.
LG Corp. experienced a rise, closing at KRW 88,400, up by 1,900. Shinsegae also saw positive movement, increasing by 18,500 to close at 323,500. Meanwhile, HyundaiMtr experienced a decline, closing at KRW 469,000, down by 2,000.
The day also saw changes for other companies such as CJ LOGISTICS, which rose by 1,800 to reach KRW 105,100, while Hanwha experienced an increase of 1,400, closing at KRW 115,100. Conversely, Yuhan dropped by 1,000 to end at KRW 91,800. POSCO Holdings had an uptick, closing at KRW 349,000, up by 1,500.
Overall, the trading session reflected a blend of upward and downward trends among the KOSPI 200 stocks, indicating a varied performance across different sectors on the Korean market.
