KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Notable Gains and Declines

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw a range of movements in its latest closing, with several companies experiencing gains while others saw declines. POONGSAN led the upward trajectory, closing at 109,300, an increase of 12,500. S-1 and SamsungSecu also showed positive movements, closing at 87,800 and 96,200 respectively, with increases of 1,300 and 2,800.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanchem and SamsungElec posted gains as well, with Hanchem closing at 265,500, up by 1,000, and SamsungElec at 193,100, rising by 6,900. Meanwhile, Hyundai Elevator and SK saw their stocks rise, closing at 88,400 and 314,000, representing gains of 1,500 each.

On the downside, SeAH Steel Holdings and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced notable declines, with SeAH Steel Holdings closing at 240,000, down by 13,000, and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries at 471,00, a decrease of 8,500. Hanon Systems and SKTelecom also faced declines, closing at 3,755 and 80,400, respectively, with drops of 25 and 500.

Several companies, including LS and LG CNS, showed no change in their stock prices, closing at 268,000 and 57,600 respectively. Meanwhile, WooriFinancialGroup and NHIS experienced moderate increases, closing at 32,400 and 30,450, with gains of 450 and 500.
