Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks displayed a mix of gains and losses as trading concluded on the main Korea Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Notable among the gainers was SK hynix, which closed at 800,000 KRW, marking an increase of 64,000 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other stocks that saw an upward trend included KEPCO E and C, which rose by 2,200 KRW to 136,300 KRW, and SamsungF and MIns, which increased by 11,500 KRW to 502,000 KRW. DOOSAN and ASIA HOLDINGS also experienced gains, both rising by 9,000 KRW to reach 899,000 KRW and 293,500 KRW respectively.
In contrast, certain stocks faced declines, with HyundaiMtr experiencing a drop of 4,000 KRW, closing at 488,500 KRW. TaekwangInd and SamyangFood also saw significant decreases, falling by 9,000 KRW to 819,000 KRW and by 20,000 KRW to 1,201,000 KRW, respectively.
Additional stocks with notable performances include LG Corp., which climbed by 1,500 KRW to 91,100 KRW, and CJ CheilJedang, which increased by 1,500 KRW, ending at 214,500 KRW. Conversely, KIA CORP. and HyundaiEng and Const witnessed declines, with KIA CORP. dropping by 1,700 KRW to 153,500 KRW and HyundaiEng and Const decreasing by 300 KRW to 105,900 KRW.
