KOSPI 200 Stock Market Update: Gains and Losses Recorded Across Major Companies

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a mixed day of trading with several companies experiencing gains while others registered losses. Prominent companies such as Hanwha Ocean, Doosan Enerbility, and NAVER saw a rise in their stock prices, while companies like Paradise, AmorePacific, and HD Hyundai Electric registered declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Ocean's stock closed at 119,800, marking an increase of 1,900. Meanwhile, Doosan Enerbility experienced a significant rise, closing at 85,900, up by 2,700. NAVER also noted substantial gains, with its stock price increasing by 10,500 to reach 260,000.

On the other hand, Paradise saw its stock price fall by 540, closing at 15,900. AmorePacific recorded a decrease of 4,700, ending the day at 121,900. HD Hyundai Electric experienced a significant drop, with its stock price falling by 34,000 to close at 834,000.

Other notable movements included a rise in Samsung Biologics by 8,000 to 1,721,000, while HL Mando dropped by 4,500, closing at 56,200. CJ and Hyundai Glovis reported gains, closing at 178,900 and 187,100, respectively, with increases of 4,100 and 9,000.

Overall, the trading day was marked by varied performances across sectors, reflecting ongoing market dynamics and investor sentiments.
