Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a range of movements in its latest trading session, with notable performances from HYOSUNG TNC and HYUNDAIGLOVIS leading the upward trend. HYOSUNG TNC closed at 265,500, marking an increase of 27,500, while HYUNDAIGLOVIS ended at 266,000, up by 8,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant gainers included TaekwangInd, which rose by 21,000 to reach 748,000, and POONGSAN, which increased by 4,200 to close at 131,100. SK Innovation also saw a rise, closing at 107,600, up by 3,700, while HanmiPharm experienced a boost of 12,000, ending at 436,500.
On the other hand, NAVER and NCsoft experienced declines, with NAVER dropping by 12,000 to 247,500 and NCsoft decreasing by 3,500 to 244,000. KT and G and Hanwha Life also saw reductions, with KT and G down by 600 to 143,700 and Hanwha Life falling by 140 to 3,245. Meritz Financial decreased by 1,200, closing at 102,900.
Overall, the session showcased a mix of gains and losses across various companies, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market.
