Seoul: Thursday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange concluded with notable movements in the KOSPI 200 index, as several major stocks posted gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, KAL saw a decline of 100 KRW, closing at 23,700 KRW, while SeAH Steel Holdings rose by 1,000 KRW, reaching 136,300 KRW. Youngone Corp experienced an increase of 1,200 KRW, closing at 84,400 KRW, and Daewoong ended the day up 400 KRW at 23,900 KRW.
SamyangFood recorded a gain of 17,000 KRW, closing at 1,216,000 KRW. Conversely, POSCO INTERNATIONAL faced a drop of 1,400 KRW, ending at 62,500 KRW. CJ CheilJedang saw an increase of 2,500 KRW, closing at 215,500 KRW, and TaekwangInd gained 14,000 KRW, reaching 823,000 KRW. HANKOOK and COMPANY rose by 800 KRW, ending the session at 26,850 KRW, while KIA CORP. experienced a significant rise of 5,200 KRW to close at 154,900 KRW.
ORION Holdings increased by 300 KRW to 21,200 KRW, and Daesang remained unchanged at 21,900 KRW. Nongshim also saw no change, staying at 409,500 KRW. SGBC posted a gain of 600 KRW, closing at 64,900 KRW, and Youngpoong rose by 3,100 KRW to 66,300 KRW. LOTTE increased by 1,250 KRW, ending at 31,650 KRW.
CJ saw a gain of 6,200 KRW, reaching 204,500 KRW. Taihan Cable and Solution rose by 1,300 KRW, closing at 28,300 KRW, while SBHC increased by 4,800 KRW to 73,100 KRW. Hyundai M and F INS saw a gain of 400 KRW, closing at 28,050 KRW. ASIA HOLDINGS remained stable at 291,500 KRW.
KCC experienced a substantial increase of 24,000 KRW, closing at 490,000 KRW, whereas SKBP saw a slight decline of 100 KRW, ending at 119,300 KRW. OTOKI gained 500 KRW, reaching 387,500 KRW, and DN AUTOMOTIVE rose by 150 KRW, closing at 25,650 KRW. DoubleUGames saw an increase of 800 KRW, ending at 53,300 KRW.
KOREA ZINC experienced a significant rise of 158,000 KRW, closing at 1,959,000 KRW. LG Corp. gained 1,000 KRW, ending at 92,400 KRW, while LOTTE Fine Chem saw a marginal increase of 50 KRW, closing at 48,550 KRW. Shinsegae recorded a gain of 9,500 KRW, ending at 307,000 KRW.
POSCO FUTURE M experienced a decline of 4,500 KRW, closing at 235,000 KRW. MIRAE ASSET SEC saw a significant increase of 6,050 KRW, reaching 40,850 KRW. SKC increased by 400 KRW, closing at 117,300 KRW, while HYUNDAI STEEL faced a decrease of 850 KRW, ending at 31,550 KRW.
