KOSPI 200 Sees Significant Gains in Closing Prices

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed notable movements in its closing prices, with several companies experiencing considerable changes. Among these, SamsungF and MIns marked a substantial increase, closing at 581,000, an upward change of 32,000. SK hynix also saw a significant rise, ending at 888,000, up by 28,000. Other notable gainers included KPIC and SamsungElecMech, which closed at 168,500 and 319,500, with gains of 14,700 and 10,000, respectively.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the trading session was marked by overall positive performances, although not every company saw gains. KEPCO and Hanon Systems both experienced losses, with KEPCO closing at 60,100, down by 900, and Hanon Systems at 4,390, down by 305. NAVER and Kakao also saw declines, closing at 255,500 and 58,800, respectively.

Other companies that reported gains included Hanwha, which rose by 5,100 to close at 119,900, and CJ, which increased by 9,000 to end at 232,000. Meanwhile, the share price of Paradise decreased by 650, closing at 20,750, reflecting a downtrend for the company. Despite a few declines, the overall sentiment in the market was positive, with many companies in the index closing higher than the previous session.
