KOSPI 200 Sees Significant Declines as Major Companies Report Losses

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed significant declines, with numerous major companies reporting losses. According to Yonhap News Agency, Youngone Holdings saw a notable decrease, closing at 174,500, down by 8,800. LS ELECTRIC also faced a downturn, with its price dropping to 202,000, a decline of 7,000.

Meanwhile, Korea Zinc experienced a sharp fall, closing at 1,145,000, down by 74,000. Samsung Heavy Industries reported a decrease to 20,600, down by 650. S-Oil's price dropped to 151,600, marking a decline of 2,000. LG Innotek faced a significant reduction, closing at 603,000, down by 30,000.

Other companies such as LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp, HMM, and Hyundai WIA also reported losses. LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp's price fell to 53,700, down by 2,000, while HMM closed at 21,700, a decrease of 950. Hyundai WIA saw a reduction to 61,400, down by 2,500.

In contrast, some companies reported gains. Hyundai MandF INS managed a slight increase, closing at 50,000, up by 300. DWEC and SamsungEandA also reported positive changes, with DWEC closing at 17,200, up by 30, and SamsungEandA rising to 48,500, up by 600. LG HandH saw an increase, closing at 302,000, up by 2,000.
