Among the companies affected, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. reported a decrease of 34,000, closing at 356,000. Similarly, LIG Nex1's shares saw a reduction of 27,500, ending the day at 454,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies on the index also recorded losses. Hyosung Heavy Industries faced a substantial drop of 322,000, concluding at 2,281,000. LG Energy Solution decreased by 18,000, closing at 380,000, while HanmiPharm's shares fell by 17,000 to 467,000. Furthermore, Kumho Petrochemical's closing price declined by 7,100, reaching 137,000.
Despite the overall downturn, some companies experienced gains. Hana Financial Group's shares rose by 3,200, closing at 103,300, and Hyundai Glovis increased by 4,000, ending at 246,000. Additionally, Samsung Electro-Mechanics gained 4,000, reaching a closing price of 283,000, and Meritz Financial saw an increase of 800, closing at 117,400.
Other companies experienced varying degrees of decline. KPIC's stocks decreased by 8,500 to 147,800, while OTOKI fell by 7,000, closing at 379,000. LG Innotek's shares declined by 7,000, ending at 238,000, and Youngone Corporation saw a reduction of 6,800, reaching a closing price of 84,100. Meanwhile, SKC reported a decrease of 5,700, closing at 111,400, and S-Oil's shares fell by 4,900, ending at 101,000.
