Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a range of movements among its constituents, with significant gains and losses observed in various companies. Among the prominent gainers, Samsung Biologics saw an increase of 15,000, closing at 1,012,000. HD Hyundai Electric also experienced a notable rise, ending the trading session at 501,000, up by 6,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as emart and SKBP also reported positive shifts. emart's price increased by 2,400 to close at 74,000, while SKBP saw a rise of 4,700, closing at 105,000. Additionally, LS reported an increase of 3,200, reaching a closing price of 175,500.
Conversely, the trading session was not favorable for all. The closing price of HanmiPharm dropped by 4,000 to 305,000, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries faced a significant decline, dropping 9,000 to close at 505,000. Another major loser was APR, which saw its price fall by 8,000, ending at 212,000.
Other companies experiencing declines included Hanwha Systems, which fell by 1,300 to 53,100, and KCC, which decreased by 2,000 to 391,500. LG Energy Solution also saw a decrease, closing at 348,500, down by 1,500.
