Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a mixed performance as several companies experienced notable declines, while a few others saw gains. Lotte Shopping and OCI Holdings were among the few that registered gains, whereas major corporations like SeAH Steel Holdings and SK faced declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Lotte Shopping closed at 151,700, marking an increase of 6,700. OCI Holdings also saw a rise, closing at 332,500, up by 13,000. Conversely, SeAH Steel Holdings recorded a decrease, closing at 185,400, down by 10,400. SK experienced a decline, closing at 541,000, which is down by 30,000.
Other significant declines included KIWOOM, which closed at 420,000, down by 39,000, and POSCO Holdings, which ended at 479,000, representing a decrease of 33,000. LG Corp. posted a positive outcome, closing at 110,400 with an increase of 5,300.
Among the companies that faced declines, Samsung Electronics closed at 279,000, down by 6,500, while Hanon Systems dropped by 570, ending at 5,160. Additionally, L and F saw a decrease, closing at 175,000, down by 12,300.
The performance of these companies reflects varied investor sentiments and market conditions impacting the KOSPI 200 index.
