KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Notable Gains and Declines

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reflected a range of movements in its closing prices, with several companies experiencing significant gains and some facing declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, COSMOCHEM closed at 14,620, marking an increase of 190. Meanwhile, HYOSUNG HEAVY saw a rise, closing at 2,735,000, up by 42,000.

Several companies showed upward trends, including LG Energy Solution, which increased by 4,500 to 375,500, and KakaoBank, which gained 450, closing at 25,100. Among others, HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED and HyundaiAutoever both witnessed increases of 4,500, closing at 225,500 and 430,500, respectively. WooriFinancialGroup also rose by 300, closing at 33,900.

LG CNS and SKBS were among the gainers, with LG CNS increasing by 2,700 to close at 67,600, and SKBS rising by 900 to 42,850. HANILCMT closed at 17,370, up by 800, while Kangwonland and LG Display increased by 340 and 310, closing at 18,190 and 12,030, respectively. KT and G experienced a rise of 500, closing at 157,500, and LG Uplus went up by 200 to close at 15,820.

Doosan Enerbility's price rose by 3,300, closing at 109,600, with SAMSUNG LIFE and NAVER both increasing by 1,000, closing at 231,500 and 221,500, respectively. Kogas saw a notable increase of 1,450, ending at 37,700, and HANALL BIOPHARMA closed at 56,500, up by 1,000.

Despite these gains, some companies faced declines. SamsungF and MIns dropped by 4,000, closing at 474,500. LIG Nex1 faced a significant decline, down by 41,000 to close at 661,000. SamsungElecMech decreased by 15,000, closing at 464,500, while Mobis and HANWHA AEROSPACE dropped by 12,500 and 55,000, closing at 400,500 and 1,320,000, respectively.

The performance of other companies like Misto Holdings, Hanwha Engine, and Hanmi Science showed slight gains, closing at 44,550, 49,050, and 38,450, respectively. Hanssem and F and F also recorded gains, closing at 43,050 and 62,700. HtlShilla increased by 1,200, reaching 44,500, while the SAMSUNG EPIS HOLDING S closed at 552,000, up by 20,000.
