Seoul: KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange displayed varied movements in their closing prices on Wednesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced increases while others faced declines.

Among the gainers, SamsungF and MIns saw a notable increase, closing at 444,000 KRW, up by 5,000 KRW. Another significant gainer was Samsung SDI CO.,LTD., which rose by 14,900 KRW to finish at 206,000 KRW. TaekwangInd also experienced a rise, closing at 1,030,000 KRW, up 14,000 KRW. Meanwhile, LG Innotek ended the day at 159,200 KRW, an increase of 3,700 KRW.

Conversely, HYOSUNG HEAVY witnessed a decline, closing at 1,241,000 KRW, down by 52,000 KRW. HANWHA AEROSPACE also saw its shares drop, finishing the session at 977,000 KRW, a decrease of 21,000 KRW. LS ELECTRIC's stock fell by 7,000 KRW, ending at 297,000 KRW, while OCI Holdings closed at 97,200 KRW, down by 1,800 KRW.

Other notable movements included MiwonComcl, which rose by 1,700 KRW to 163,900 KRW, and SeAH Steel Holdings, which increased by 3,500 KRW to close at 217,000 KRW. In contrast, Daewoong's stock decreased by 550 KRW to 23,800 KRW, and YoulchonChem also declined by 550 KRW, closing at 35,200 KRW.
