Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a varied trading session on Tuesday, with several key stocks witnessing significant changes in their closing prices. Among the notable movements, SK Innovation closed at 125,000 KRW, reflecting a decline of 5,100 KRW. Hanmi Science saw a substantial drop, closing at 46,300 KRW, down by 10,200 KRW. Meanwhile, SBHC experienced an increase, closing at 44,400 KRW, up by 2,600 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable performers included Taihan Cable and Solution, which closed at 27,500 KRW, marking an increase of 800 KRW. Hyundai M and F INS also recorded a slight increase, closing at 50,800 KRW, up by 200 KRW. On the other hand, Daesang saw a minor decline, closing at 17,880 KRW, down by 150 KRW.
KAL and LG Corp. experienced mixed results, with KAL closing at 26,300 KRW, up by 300 KRW, while LG Corp. settled at 112,600 KRW, down by 900 KRW. POSCO FUTURE M closed at 167,800 KRW, a drop of 3,100 KRW, whereas LOTTE Fine Chem increased to 45,850 KRW, up by 250 KRW.
Hyundai Steel reported a positive outcome, closing at 30,100 KRW, up by 2,100 KRW. In contrast, Shinsegae and Nongshim experienced declines, closing at 395,000 KRW and 451,000 KRW, down by 5,500 KRW and 4,500 KRW, respectively. SeAH Steel Holdings showed an increase, closing at 102,000 KRW, up by 1,100 KRW.
Other notable movements included SamyangFood, which saw a rise, closing at 1,430,000 KRW, up by 26,000 KRW. POSCO INTERNATIONAL increased to 53,900 KRW, up by 300 KRW, while CJ CheilJedang declined, closing at 187,100 KRW, down by 2,500 KRW. TaekwangInd closed at 902,000 KRW, up by 9,000 KRW, and ORION Holdings saw a slight decline, closing at 25,500 KRW, down by 150 KRW.
ASIA HOLDINGS showed a significant increase, closing at 206,000 KRW, up by 14,200 KRW. KCC and SKBP reported mixed results, with KCC closing at 454,000 KRW, up by 2,000 KRW, and SKBP declining to 84,400 KRW, down by 2,000 KRW. AMOREPACIFIC Holdings increased to 26,850 KRW, up by 350 KRW, while HyundaiMtr rose to 421,000 KRW, up by 7,000 KRW.
MiwonComcl closed at 134,500 KRW, up by 2,700 KRW, and DL increased to 48,150 KRW, up by 1,250 KRW. Yuhan experienced a decline, closing at 83,300 KRW, down by 1,000 KRW. DOOSAN and KOREA ZINC saw substantial increases, closing at 1,101,000 KRW and 1,427,000 KRW, up by 16,000 KRW and 83,000 KRW, respectively.
POONGSAN increased to 87,600 KRW, up by 5,400 KRW, while Hanwha and HyundaiEng and Const reported significant gains, closing at 118,100 KRW and 121,300 KRW, up by 17,500 KRW and 15,700 KRW, respectively. FOOSUNG increased to 12,460 KRW, up by 240 KRW, and HANKOOK and COMPANY showed a slight increase, closing at 24,050 KRW, up by 150 KRW.
