KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Significant Gains for Samsung Biologics and APR

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a range of movements as market activity showcased gains and declines across several prominent stocks. Samsung Biologics and APR were among the notable performers with significant price increases, while other companies like Hanmi Pharm and Hanwha Systems experienced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Biologics marked a substantial rise in its stock value, closing at 1,657,000, which is an increase of 65,000. APR also saw a significant gain, with its stock price climbing by 17,500 to end at 319,000. Other companies that experienced upward movements included HD Hyundai, which increased by 9,000 to 278,000, and HS Hyosung Advanced, rising by 10,500 to 217,500.

Conversely, Hanmi Pharm experienced a significant decline, with its shares dropping by 21,000 to a closing price of 490,000. Hanwha Systems also saw a decrease, with a reduction of 8,500, bringing its stock down to 147,700. Other companies like Krafton and Poongsan faced declines as well, with Krafton dropping by 9,500 to 227,500 and Poongsan reducing by 3,200 to 106,100.

Overall, the trading session reflected varied performances across different sectors within the KOSPI 200 index, highlighting both gains and losses within the South Korean market.
