KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements with Significant Gains for Hanwha Ocean and DOOSAN

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a variety of performances, with stocks such as Hanwha Ocean and DOOSAN achieving notable gains, while others like KRAFTON and HD Hyundai Electric faced declines. The index reflected the dynamic nature of the market, highlighting both upward and downward trends among key players.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Ocean experienced a significant rise, closing at 134,700, which is an increase of 12,500. DOOSAN also saw a substantial gain, with its shares rising by 188,000 to reach a closing price of 1,781,000. Other companies like Samsung Biologics and HD Hyundai showed upward movements, closing at 1,425,000 and 289,500, respectively.

Conversely, several companies faced declines. KRAFTON's shares dropped by 10,500, closing at 260,500, and HD Hyundai Electric fell by 25,000, ending at 1,148,000. Additional declines were observed in companies such as Netmarble, which decreased by 1,400 to 42,000, and Lotte Shopping, down by 4,900 to 158,500.

The market also reflected a mixed performance among other stocks. Misto Holdings and Hanwha Engine posted gains, rising by 450 and 3,600, respectively. Meanwhile, companies like SKBP and HITEJINRO faced downturns, with SKBP declining by 1,100 to 96,700, and HITEJINRO down by 410 to 16,520.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 index provided a snapshot of the varied performances within the market, with both substantial gains and losses noted among various companies.
