Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a range of movements as several major stocks closed with gains while others saw declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai Mipo recorded an increase, closing at 194,600, up by 300. S-Oil experienced a significant rise, closing at 64,800, up by 3,200. LG Innotek's closing price was 190,600, reflecting an increase of 1,300. Lotte Chemical Corp also saw an upward movement, closing at 69,100, up by 2,100.
Miwon SC, however, ended the day with a decrease, closing at 138,400, down by 2,300. KT's share price fell to 50,500, a decrease of 600. Dongsuh also experienced a slight decline, closing at 27,000, down by 100.
In contrast, Samsung Card rose to 52,200, marking an increase of 700. Lotte Wellfood's share price climbed to 115,100, up by 1,100. CheilWorldwide ended the trading session at 20,700, up by 300.
Samsung C and T noted a small rise, closing at 188,000, up by 100. PanOcean's shares saw a minor increase, closing at 3,915, up by 10. Hitejinro's stock rose to 19,110, up by 130. CJ Logistics had a significant gain, closing at 85,200, up by 2,900.
On the other hand, Hyundai Wia's shares decreased, ending at 48,250, down by 250. S-1 saw a decline, with its share price falling to 84,200, a decrease of 1,600. Kumho Petrochem's stock slightly decreased, closing at 103,600, down by 100.
Hana Financial Group's shares rose to 88,800, up by 1,700. Amorepacific experienced an increase, closing at 125,600, up by 3,200. LIG Nex1 saw a notable rise, closing at 507,000, up by 16,000. Hanwha Aerospace also reported a significant gain, closing at 1,059,000, up by 15,000.
Among other stocks, HMM closed slightly higher at 20,600, up by 50. L and F's shares increased to 72,900, up by 500. Celltrion ended the day at 178,600, up by 600. KIH saw a notable increase, closing at 145,400, up by 3,400. Daewoong Pharm also experienced a rise, closing at 135,400, up by 2,500.
Meanwhile, some companies witnessed declines. Misto Holdings' shares fell to 38,950, down by 150. Hyundai Glovis decreased to 168,100, down by 400. HDC Holdings also saw a decrease, closing at 17,760, down by 100. TKG Huchems experienced a slight decline, ending at 17,500, down by 70.
