Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index reported varied movements among its listed companies, with several notable gains and losses in today's closing prices.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KIA Corp. observed an increase in its stock price, closing at 133,600, up by 600. S-Oil experienced a significant rise, closing at 124,900, up by 2,400. LG Innotek, on the other hand, saw a decrease, closing at 554,000, down by 47,000. LOTTE Chemical Corp and HMM both registered gains, closing at 58,700 and 21,400, respectively.

Hyundai WIA's stock price increased by 500, reaching 62,800, while Samsung Biologics climbed to 1,514,000, marking an increase of 23,000. Kumho Petrochemical also saw gains, closing at 121,700, up by 1,900. Mobis and Hanwha Aerospace reported significant increases, closing at 508,000 and 1,054,000, respectively.

Conversely, Samsung Electronics Holding experienced a rise in its stock price, closing at 402,000, up by 13,000. S-1 and Hanchem showed mixed results, with S-1 up by 1,400 to 75,000, while Hanchem decreased by 2,000 to 223,500. DWS closed lower at 21,350, down by 150.

SeAH Steel Holdings saw a notable gain of 5,400, closing at 112,900. KEPCO's stock price increased by 250, closing at 35,950, while Samsung Securities fell by 2,200, ending at 95,400. SK Telecom also saw a decrease, closing at 91,100, down by 1,900.

Hyundai Elevator and Hankuk Carbon reported mixed results, with Hyundai Elevator up by 1,200 to 72,400, while Hankuk Carbon decreased by 350 to 22,900. Hanon Systems and SK also showed contrasting movements, with Hanon Systems up by 80 to 3,610, while SK decreased by 53,000 to 509,000.

COWAY and POSCO DX showed varied outcomes, with COWAY up by 3,800 to 96,600, while POSCO DX decreased by 250 to 20,600. LOTTE Shopping and IBK reported gains, closing at 114,500 and 20,350, respectively. Dongsuh and Kakao also saw increases, ending at 26,250 and 38,300.

LG Display and Samsung C and T experienced declines, closing at 9,560 and 334,000, respectively. KT and Doosan Enerbility showed mixed results, with KT up by 1,000 to 53,500, while Doosan Enerbility decreased by 600 to 76,400. KEPCO E and C and Samsung E and A also reported contrasting movements, with KEPCO E and C down by 300 to 102,200, while Samsung E and A increased by 350 to 49,450.

Paradise and DWEC both registered gains, closing at 9,990 and 16,870, respectively. LG Uplus and NC also saw increases, ending at 15,000 and 239,500. Samsung Life's stock price decreased by 6,500, closing at 287,500, while KEPCO KPS increased by 600, closing at 47,200.
