Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced varied movements as the trading week concluded. Notable performances included gains by HanmiPharm, which rose by 5,500 to close at 433,500, and Doosan Robotics, up by 1,700 to finish at 83,600. Conversely, LIG Nex1 saw a significant decline, dropping by 6,000 to settle at 382,500.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the list of stocks also showed a mixture of upward and downward trends. HD Hyundai Infracore increased by 620, ending at 15,700, while Kolon Industries climbed by 1,400 to 46,750. SK Square also saw an increase, gaining 1,000 to reach 324,000. Other stocks such as DL E and C and HanmiPharm recorded rises of 400 and 5,500, respectively.
On the downside, LG Chem fell by 3,500 to 376,000, and Kakao decreased by 1,600, closing at 59,200. NAVER also saw a decline, shedding 3,500 to end at 244,500. Additionally, KIWOOM and LG H and H reported losses of 4,000 and 4,500, respectively. Other notable decreases included Hanwha Ocean, which dropped by 2,700 to 112,500, and iM Financial Group, which declined by 270 to 14,230.
The trading session highlighted the varied performance of the KOSPI 200 stocks, with several companies experiencing notable fluctuations. Despite some declines, the market also saw several gains, indicating mixed investor sentiment in the current economic climate.
