Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed mixed movements with several companies experiencing gains while others recorded losses. Among the notable gainers, COSMAX rose by 3,800 to close at 202,500, while MIWON SC increased by 2,900, settling at 134,900. BGF Retail saw an uptick of 2,600, closing at 121,400.

According to Yonhap News Agency, companies that faced declines included Samsung Biologics, which fell by 31,000 to 1,745,000, and HyundaiAutoever, which decreased by 22,500, closing at 461,500. Krafton experienced a drop of 6,500, ending at 254,000, while APR also saw a decline of 6,500 to 270,000.

Additional movements in the index showed HanmiPharm decreasing by 21,000 to 484,000 and Doosan Robotics dropping by 5,700 to 114,100. Meanwhile, gains were recorded by Poongsan, which increased by 1,700 to 131,200, and Hanwha Systems, which rose by 1,400 to 94,200.

The index also noted EcoPro MAT declining by 5,800 to 67,500, and SK ie technology falling by 1,450, ending at 27,350. On the other hand, Meritz Financial saw substantial gains, increasing by 5,400 to 116,600, and ISU Specialty Chemical rose by 2,000 to 106,400.
