Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mixed day of trading, with several prominent stocks experiencing fluctuations in their closing prices. Notable companies such as KOLMAR KOREA, HANJINKAL, and CHONGKUNDANG saw declines, while others like HD HYUNDAI and ORION reported gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, KOLMAR KOREA's stock closed at 89,500, marking a decrease of 400. Similarly, HANJINKAL and CHONGKUNDANG saw their prices drop by 1,400 and 1,300, closing at 113,300 and 86,900, respectively. Other companies that experienced declines included HANWHA SYSTEMS, APR, HYOSUNG TNC, and AMOREPACIFIC.
In contrast, HD HYUNDAI reported a significant increase of 20,500, closing at 301,000. HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC also saw a rise, ending the day at 1,260,000, up by 22,000. ORION's stock increased by 4,800, closing at 146,000. Other companies such as BGF Retail, SKCHEM, HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED, and DL E and C also recorded positive movements.
The market's overall performance was marked by notable gains from stocks like SKSQUARE and LIG Defense and Aerospace, with increases of 19,000 and 35,000, respectively. Meanwhile, stocks like HYBE, HYUNDAIGLOVIS, and Doosan Robotics contributed to the upward trend with gains in their closing prices.
Despite the mixed results, the KOSPI 200 index continues to reflect the dynamic nature of the market, with a balance of rising and falling stocks shaping the day's trading outcomes.
