Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a range of movements as companies reported differing stock performances. Hankuk Carbon saw a notable increase, closing at 35,650, up by 2,850. In contrast, POSCO DX experienced a decline, ending the day at 28,100, down by 550.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies such as Doosan Enerbility and Samsung Card posted gains, closing at 103,300 and 53,300, up by 3,500 and 1,600, respectively. Companies like COWAY and LG Display faced declines, closing at 91,200 and 13,930, down by 100 and 200, respectively.
Further gains were observed in firms like KT and Samsung Life, which closed at 56,600 and 431,000, up by 1,200 and 8,000, respectively. On the other hand, NAVER and LG Electronics saw significant declines, closing at 242,000 and 234,000, down by 6,000 and 9,500, respectively.
Other noteworthy performances include Lotte Wellfood, which dropped by 3,900 to close at 106,300, and HL Mando, which rose by 6,300 to finish at 76,900. The diverse movements across the KOSPI 200 highlight the fluctuations within the market.
