Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index closed with a mix of gains and losses, as various stocks showed significant movement on the market. Notable among the gainers was HYOSUNG HEAVY, which saw its stock price rise by 12,000 to close at 1,910,000. KPIC also experienced a substantial increase, closing at 157,300, up by 6,300. Other companies, including SeAH Steel Holdings and KumhoPetrochem, saw increases of 3,200 and 4,500, respectively.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several stocks ended the day on a downtrend. Samsung Biologics dropped by 40,000 to settle at 1,750,000, while SAMSUNG EPIS Holding saw a decline of 46,000, closing at 666,000. LG Energy Solution and HDKSOE also experienced decreases, falling by 2,500 and 1,000, respectively.

The market also witnessed moderate gains for firms like SamsungElecMech, which increased by 3,500 to 258,500, and Mobis, which closed at 362,000 after a rise of 5,000. In contrast, some companies like Hanmi Science and YoulchonChem saw slight declines, with their prices dropping by 100 and 350, respectively. Other noteworthy movements included F and F's increase by 3,000 to 79,700 and S-1's rise by 900 to 75,800.
