Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance with several companies experiencing significant changes in their stock prices. Leading the list of gainers, SKSQUARE saw a remarkable increase, closing at 1,346,000 with a rise of 90,000. BGF Retail also posted a substantial gain, closing at 132,500, up by 8,000. Other gainers included SKTelecom, which increased by 13,000 to close at 125,200, and HANJINKAL, which rose by 3,100 to settle at 114,300.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the market also witnessed notable declines among several stocks. HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC saw a considerable decrease, dropping 71,000 to close at 995,000. SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS fell by 10,000, ending the day at 1,367,000. In addition, HanmiPharm decreased by 32,000 to finish at 507,000, and HD HYUNDAI fell by 4,500, closing at 276,500.
Youngone Corp and emart were among the gainers, closing at 78,500 and 88,400, respectively, with increases of 1,700 and 700. On the other hand, KOLON IND and COSMAX experienced declines, closing at 66,200 and 170,000, with drops of 4,500 and 2,000 respectively. Despite these fluctuations, Meritz Financial remained unchanged, closing at 106,100.
