KOSPI 200 Sees Broad Gains Across Multiple Sectors

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced an uptick with several companies closing higher in the latest trading session. Notable among these were Mobis, which ended at 435,000, marking an increase of 9,000, and Hanwha Aerospace, which closed at 1,193,000, up by 12,000. Meanwhile, Hanchem's shares rose by 15,500 to 295,000, and DWS closed at 29,550, up by 900.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Epis Holding experienced a significant rise, closing at 598,000, an increase of 40,000. S-1's shares increased by 2,600, reaching a closing price of 89,400, while Kakao saw a rise of 1,300, closing at 57,500. Paradise also experienced gains, closing at 20,900, up by 550.

In addition, SK's shares went up by 15,000, reaching 330,000, and Hanon Systems saw an increase of 115, closing at 3,875. LG Display rose by 270 to close at 11,470, and Doosan Enerbility's shares increased by 6,400, ending at 95,400. NAVER closed at 250,000, up by 1,000, and Kangwonland's shares rose by 300 to 17,990.

However, not all companies saw gains; NCsoft's shares dropped by 13,500, closing at 203,000. In contrast, FOOSUNG experienced an increase of 350, closing at 8,330, and SK Innovation rose by 3,500 to end at 109,700. S-Oil's shares increased by 1,600, closing at 99,600, while LG Innotek went up by 3,000 to 235,500.

Other notable mentions include Lotte Chemical Corp, which saw its shares rise by 2,000 to 74,900, and Hyundai WIA, which also experienced an increase of 2,000, closing at 83,200. HMM's shares rose by 300 to end at 20,400, and Kumho Petrochem experienced a gain of 3,500, closing at 138,600.

Further, KIWOOM saw a substantial gain of 38,500, ending at 443,500, and Hanwha Ocean increased by 2,600, closing at 133,200. Hanmi Semi's shares rose by 1,800, closing at 197,800, while DWEC's shares increased by 250, ending at 5,770. KEPCO KPS closed at 59,000, up by 1,900, and LG H and H rose by 7,000 to 268,500.

LGChem's shares increased by 6,500, closing at 310,500, and KEPCO E and C rose by 5,500, ending at 151,700. Shinhan Group, however, saw a slight decrease, with shares dropping by 200 to close at 93,400. Samsung Heavy Industries experienced a gain of 450, closing at 27,950, and Korea Zinc saw a significant increase of 68,000, ending at 1,709,000.

Hanssem's shares rose by 500 to 44,900, and F and F experienced an increase of 2,200, closing at 75,200. Meanwhile, HDKSOE's shares decreased by 5,500, ending at 390,000, while Youngone Holdings saw a rise of 7,500, closing at 215,000. OCI Holdings increased by 3,900, ending at 155,000, and LS Electric experienced a substantial gain of 51,000, closing at 646,000.
