Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a notable decrease in the closing prices of several major companies. Financial and industrial sectors were among those affected as stocks showed a downward trend.
According to Yonhap News Agency, KakaoBank's stock fell by 1,150 to close at 22,450, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries experienced a drop of 31,000, closing at 640,000. Similarly, LS closed at 472,500 after a decrease of 32,500. GS E and C's shares fell by 2,850, leading to a closing price of 32,000.
Hyosung TNC and Hyosung Heavy reported declines of 25,000 and 280,000, closing at 440,000 and 3,745,000, respectively. LG Energy Solution ended the day at 417,000, down 25,000. YoulchonChem's shares decreased by 1,150, closing at 23,000.
HS Hyosung Advanced closed at 228,000 after a decline of 11,000. HANILCMT's stock decreased by 550, bringing its closing price to 16,320. SKBS reported a fall of 1,900, ending the day at 41,300. Meanwhile, Woori Financial Group saw a decrease of 550, closing at 31,250.
In contrast, LG CNS and F and F experienced slight increases, closing at 86,600 and 84,200, respectively. HYBE's stock price fell by 3,000, closing at 244,000. Hanwha Engine faced a significant decline of 5,800, closing at 71,600, while DWEC and ECOPRO MAT closed at 28,500 and 64,500, following declines of 4,100 and 4,500, respectively.
Hanssem's shares decreased by 1,000, closing at 35,450, and HDHMS saw a drop of 6,500, closing at 215,500. SK ie technology's stock fell by 2,300, ending at 21,400. DL E and C closed at 80,300 after a decline of 4,700.
SKSQUARE's shares decreased by 73,000, closing at 1,098,000, and DB INSURANCE fell by 8,500, ending at 164,500. LG Innotek closed at 732,000, down 28,000. Taihan Cable and Solution reported a decrease of 5,500, closing at 60,000.
HtlShilla saw a decline of 3,500, closing at 62,500, while Hanmi Science closed at 35,000 after a decrease of 350. SamsungElecMech and SAMSUNG C and T reported declines of 14,000 and 45,500, closing at 1,010,000 and 396,500, respectively.
HD-Hyundai Marine Engine's stock fell by 5,000, ending at 79,200. HyundaiAutoever reported a significant decline of 41,000, closing at 648,000. SamsungElec experienced a fall of 25,500, closing at 270,500. NHIS closed at 32,550 after a decrease of 2,450.
DongwonInd's stock decreased by 1,150, closing at 38,100. GC Biopharma Corp. ended the day at 138,700, down 6,100. SAMSUNG SDI CO.,LTD. closed at 614,000, following a decline of 22,000. KPIC and OTOKI reported decreases of 7,900 and 4,000, closing at 140,000 and 360,000, respectively.
