KOSPI 200 Index Sees Varied Movement with Significant Changes Among Key Players

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed several notable shifts as stock prices for various companies experienced both gains and declines. Noteworthy movements included a substantial rise for LS ELECTRIC, which saw its stock price increase by 9,000 to close at 506,000. Meanwhile, the stock of SamsungF and MIns fell significantly by 140,500, closing at 489,500, marking one of the sharpest declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable changes included HANJINKAL, which experienced a remarkable increase of 23,000, closing at 133,600. Hanwha's stock also climbed, closing at 84,800 with a rise of 2,800. Conversely, Korea Zinc saw a reduction of 18,000, closing at 1,518,000.

In the tech and electronics sector, SK's stock price rose by 6,000, reaching 267,500, while NAVER and Kakao saw gains of 1,000 and 600, closing at 244,500 and 59,800 respectively. LG Display had a modest increase of 40, closing at 12,520. NCsoft's stock also rose by 1,900, closing at 195,000.

In the construction and infrastructure sector, HyundaiEng and Const showed a significant increase of 4,400, closing at 78,000. Doosan Enerbility's stock price increased by 2,400, closing at 79,700. HDKSOE and DL E and C also experienced gains, closing at 449,500 and 45,100 respectively.

Healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, however, faced declines, with HANALL BIOPHARMA dropping by 8,950 to close at 42,550. Meanwhile, Hanssem and Hanwha Solutions saw increases, closing at 46,700 and 28,150 respectively.

Overall, the day's trading highlighted the fluctuating nature of the market, with sectors such as technology and construction showing strength while others like insurance and specialty chemicals faced challenges.
