Seoul: The KOSPI 200 Index showed significant upward movement with various companies registering notable increases in their closing prices. Investors witnessed a positive trading session as several companies saw their stock values rise.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HANJINKAL led the gains with a closing price of 121,200, up by 8,200. Hanwha also experienced a rise, closing at 127,700, marking an increase of 14,400. HANMISemi recorded a substantial gain of 56,000, ending the session at 315,000. LotteChilsung and Daewoong saw their prices increase to 125,300 and 23,150, respectively.

Other notable movements included KAL, which went up 1,300 to close at 24,500, and LG Corp., which rose by 5,500, ending at 96,800. POSCO FUTURE M also recorded significant gains, closing at 208,000, up by 22,800. LOTTE Fine Chem and HYUNDAI STEEL saw their prices rise to 44,600 and 35,800, respectively.

HankukCarbon and POSCO DX also experienced increases, with closing prices of 38,450 and 32,300. LOTTE SHOPPING and DONGSUH closed at 96,000 and 25,450, respectively. SamsungE and A and SAMSUNG CARD registered increases, closing at 33,150 and 59,500.

Additionally, IBK and KIWOOM ended the session at 23,800 and 441,000, respectively. SKCHEM rose to 59,400, while LIG Nex1 marked a significant increase, closing at 763,000. HANKOOK and COMPANY and MIWON SC also saw gains, closing at 25,800 and 128,600.

PanOcean and Taihan Cable and Solution experienced increases, closing at 5,660 and 29,150, respectively. Other companies like HYUNDAIDEPTST, HITEJINRO, and CJ LOGISTICS also saw upward movement. HYOSUNG TNC and HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED ended the session at 335,500 and 209,000, respectively.

HANILCMT, SKBS, and HyundaiAutoever also registered gains, with closing prices of 16,460, 44,250, and 402,500. HyundaiEng and Const and KakaoBank recorded increases, closing at 144,000 and 24,050, respectively.

HYBE, SK Innovation, and DL E and C saw their prices rise to 343,000, 126,500, and 44,600, respectively. kakaopay and HDHMS ended the session at 59,300 and 173,100, with Doosan Robotics closing at 90,600.
