Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index observed a varied trading session with notable fluctuations among its constituents. Companies such as KIWOOM, NC, and HANMISemi faced substantial declines, while others like OCI Holdings and HanmiPharm posted significant gains.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KIWOOM saw a steep drop, closing at 274,000, a decrease of 19,500. Similarly, NC and HANMISemi experienced considerable declines, closing at 232,000 and 202,500, respectively, reflecting losses of 2,500 and 12,000. Meanwhile, LG HandH and LGELECTRONICS also faced downturns, with their prices falling by 3,500 and 3,300, closing at 283,500 and 158,800, respectively.

In contrast, OCI Holdings and HanmiPharm reported strong performances. OCI Holdings increased by 6,600, closing at 196,900, while HanmiPharm saw an increase of 12,000, reaching 345,500. Additionally, companies like ShinhanGroup and JB Financial Group also observed gains, closing at 102,700 and 27,100, respectively, with increases of 2,000 and 650.

Other notable movements included KEPCO EandC and SANIL ELECTRIC, which closed at 90,700 and 145,600, gaining 1,700 and 2,400, respectively. Conversely, several companies such as Shinsegae and HYUNDAI ROTEM registered losses, closing at 405,500 and 129,700, with declines of 17,500 and 4,000, respectively.
