Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mixed performance as it closed, with several notable movements in stock prices. LS saw a decline of 1,000 to settle at 293,500, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries remained unchanged at 464,500. Meanwhile, Mirae Asset Securities experienced an increase of 500, closing at 36,300.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced gains, including SKC, which rose by 2,400 to reach 88,300. Samsung Epis Holdings also saw a significant increase, climbing 14,000 to 380,000. In contrast, Mobis faced a decrease of 34,000, closing at 464,000, and Hanwha Aerospace dropped by 15,000 to 1,087,000.
Other notable movements included S-Oil's rise of 1,100, closing at 141,000, and Kumho Petrochem's gain of 3,800, reaching 124,000. Samsung C and T saw an increase of 20,500, ending at 387,500. On the downside, LG Innotek fell by 19,000 to 583,000, and HMM decreased by 1,300 to 21,350.
Additional changes were observed with Samsung Life rising by 24,500 to 309,500, while Lotte Shopping increased by 6,200, closing at 105,100. In contrast, KT and G experienced a decline of 700, settling at 174,700. The fluctuations in these stock prices reflect ongoing dynamics in the market, influencing investor strategies and market outlooks.
