Seoul: Friday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a mixed performance among KOSPI 200 companies, with notable fluctuations in stock prices across various sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, KCC's shares closed at 404,000 KRW, registering a decline of 15,000 KRW. SKBP also saw a decrease, with its price settling at 116,000 KRW after falling by 3,500 KRW. TCC Steel's shares ended at 16,680 KRW, reflecting a drop of 1,000 KRW. LotteChilsung experienced a significant decrease, closing at 117,400 KRW, down by 9,000 KRW.
Conversely, AMOREPACIFIC Holdings witnessed an increase in its stock price, rising by 1,600 KRW to close at 26,600 KRW. Hyundai Motor's shares saw a reduction, closing at 264,000 KRW, a decline of 5,000 KRW. Miwon Commercial and Dongwon Industries also reported declines, with their prices falling to 148,000 KRW and 47,400 KRW, respectively.
LS closed at 202,000 KRW, showing a decrease of 15,500 KRW. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries ended the session at 52,100 KRW, down by 4,000 KRW. GS Engineering and Construction and GC Corp saw their shares fall to 18,110 KRW and 128,400 KRW, respectively. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. experienced a sharp decline, closing at 306,000 KRW, down by 16,000 KRW.
KPIC, Mirae Asset Securities, and SKC also faced declines, with their shares ending at 126,000 KRW, 23,100 KRW, and 110,900 KRW, respectively. On the other hand, GS Retail's shares rose, closing at 20,150 KRW, an increase of 1,660 KRW. Hanssem also saw a slight increase, ending at 45,350 KRW.
F and F, Hanall Biopharma, and Kogas reported decreases, with their shares closing at 61,100 KRW, 46,300 KRW, and 41,500 KRW, respectively. Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance and HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering also saw declines, with their prices dropping to 488,000 KRW and 415,500 KRW, respectively.
S-Oil, Hanwha Solutions, and OCI Holdings faced downturns, ending at 74,400 KRW, 26,250 KRW, and 112,500 KRW, respectively. LS Electric experienced the largest decline, with its shares falling by 22,500 KRW to close at 440,000 KRW. Korea Zinc, however, saw an increase, closing at 1,024,000 KRW, up by 23,000 KRW.
Samsung Heavy Industries and HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard reported mixed results, with Samsung Heavy Industries rising slightly to 26,300 KRW, while HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard fell to 205,500 KRW. LG Innotek, Lotte Chemical Corp, and HMM experienced declines, closing at 253,500 KRW, 68,800 KRW, and 19,820 KRW, respectively.
Hyundai Wia, Kumho Petrochemical, and Mobis also faced declines, ending at 54,100 KRW, 111,700 KRW, and 290,000 KRW, respectively. Hanwha Aerospace reported a significant decline, closing at 923,000 KRW, down by 47,000 KRW. DWS saw a decrease, ending at 27,200 KRW, while HDC Holdings and S-1 reported increases, closing at 17,920 KRW and 74,400 KRW, respectively.
