Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained largely stable with slight fluctuations in certain terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 1-month KORIBOR rates held steady at 3.00% and 3.04% respectively, showing no change from the previous session. The 2-month rate experienced a minor decrease, moving from 3.07% to 3.06%. Similarly, the 3-month rate saw a slight drop from 3.10% to 3.09%.
The 6-month KORIBOR rate also reflected a small decrease, shifting from 3.08% to 3.06%. In contrast, the 12-month rate remained unchanged at 2.85%, indicating stability over the longer term.
These rates are crucial indicators in the financial sector, influencing loan and investment decisions within South Korea's banking system.
