Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have remained stable across all terms as reported today. The rates, released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, were posted at 11:00 a.m., showing no significant changes compared to the previous session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR rate stood unchanged at 2.50%, while the 1-month rate saw a slight increase moving from 2.60% to 2.61%. The 2-month, 3-month, and 6-month rates held steady at 2.71%, 2.81%, and 2.85% respectively. The 12-month rate also showed no change, maintaining a rate of 2.97%.
The consistency in the KORIBOR rates suggests a stable short-term outlook in the interbank lending market. These rates serve as a benchmark for various financial products and are closely monitored by financial institutions and analysts. The minor increase in the 1-month rate could be indicative of slight adjustments in market expectations.
