KORIBOR Rates Show Slight Increase Across Several Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced slight increases across several terms, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today. The rates indicate minor shifts for the 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month terms.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week term remained steady at 2.50%, showing no change from the previous session. The 1-month rate rose marginally to 2.69% from 2.68%, while the 2-month rate increased slightly to 2.86% from 2.85%. The 3-month rate saw a minor uptick to 3.03% compared to the previous 3.02%.

The longer-term rates also experienced small increases. The 6-month rate moved to 3.26% from 3.24%, and the 12-month rate increased to 3.69% from 3.67%. These changes reflect incremental adjustments in the interbank lending rates, which are closely watched by financial institutions and analysts for economic indicators.
