Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown a slight decrease across several terms, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for the 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month terms have all experienced a marginal decline compared to the previous session. The 1-week rate remained unchanged at 2.50%. The 1-month rate decreased from 2.60% to 2.59%, the 2-month rate from 2.69% to 2.68%, the 3-month rate from 2.79% to 2.78%, the 6-month rate from 2.87% to 2.86%, and the 12-month rate from 3.11% to 3.10%.
These rates are significant for financial institutions as they serve as benchmarks for various financial products and loans in South Korea. The minor adjustments in the KORIBOR rates may have implications for borrowers and lenders in the country's financial markets.
