KORIBOR Rates Show Minimal Changes Across Most Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced minimal changes as released by Yonhap Infomax at 11:00 a.m. today. The rates, which are crucial for financial institutions in determining lending costs, showed stability across most term periods.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week, 1-month, and 2-month KORIBOR rates remained unchanged at 2.50%, 2.64%, and 2.78%, respectively, from the previous session. However, the 3-month rate saw a slight increase from 2.93% to 2.94%. The 6-month rate held steady at 3.12%, while the 12-month rate experienced a minor decrease from 3.55% to 3.54%.

These rates are closely monitored by financial markets as they reflect the cost of borrowing within the banking sector. The stability across most terms indicates a consistent market environment, with only slight fluctuations observed in the longer-term rates.
